Terms & conditions

Seller: Techtenstein Services Private Limited ("Techtenstein", "we", "us"), operator of the PetClaim service ("Service") at petclaim.org.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing an appeal unlock, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age and, if acting for an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

2. The Service

PetClaim generates draft pet-insurance appeal letters and related documents from information you provide. It is a software tool, not a law firm, not a lawyer, and not a licensed insurance agent or broker.

3. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to commit fraud; (b) submit forged vet records, fabricated denial letters, or other deceptive materials; (c) infringe anyone's intellectual property; (d) attempt to interfere with the Service's security, probe it, scrape it, upload malware, or reverse engineer it; (e) resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs as a commercial product; (f) use the Service to send spam.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, content templates, documentation, and branding, is owned by Techtenstein Services Private Limited and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of the content you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Payments, subscriptions, and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer-service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, applicable taxes, currency conversion, invoicing, subscription renewals, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscription plans (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual) renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or via paddle.net; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all purchases — one-time $9 appeal unlocks, Pro Monthly subscriptions, and Pro Annual subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, request a full refund within 14 days of your order date via paddle.net or by emailing support@petclaim.org. Refunds are processed by Paddle. There are no download-based or usage-based disqualifiers.

7. Service availability and warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. No legal advice; no guaranteed outcome

Generated appeal letters are drafts based on the information you supply and publicly available denial patterns. Outcomes depend on policy wording, medical facts, and the insurer's review. We make no representation that any appeal will be approved. Review every draft and consult a licensed attorney for material disputes.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: (a) material breach of these Terms; (b) non-payment; (c) suspected fraud, security risk, or abuse of the Service; (d) repeated or serious violations of the acceptable-use clause. We may also terminate for convenience on reasonable notice, in which case we will refund any unused prepaid subscription period on a pro-rata basis via Paddle.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

11. Affiliate disclosure (FTC)

Some links to pet-insurance carriers pay us a commission when you sign up. This does not change the price you pay. We rank carriers by appeal-friendliness and policy quality, not by commission.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
